Media Relations Strategy
Telling compelling stories is at the heart of how Rob cuts through conventional wisdom and shapes the narrative. Using storytelling that not only lays out the problem, but clearly articulates an achievable solution, is how Rob successfully executes strategic and crisis communications campaigns for federal agencies, businesses, and non-profits.
During his Career, Rob spent 15 years on Capitol Hill, including more than a decade as a senior communications strategist. He’s earned coverage in local, state, and national media, as well as trade publications, including the New York Times, Washington Post, Associated Press, and Wall street Journal. Rob also managed crisis communications for U.S. Senators, including for Senator Landrieu in response to the high-profile Deepwater Horizon oil spill of 2010 in the Gulf of Mexico.
Rob also helps a variety of individuals tell stories through speeches. He’s written speeches for government officials, political candidates, and executives. These speeches cover a variety of topics from health care and innovation to transportation and national security. Rob also writes occasional opinion pieces for Huffington Post’s Politics Blog.
When not telling stories, Rob is an avid sports fan, whose teams are always disappointing. He is also the proud father of two amazing children.
Rob holds a Master’s Degree in Political Management from The George Washington University, as well as a Bachelor’s Degree from Sacred Heart University in Connecticut.
