Elevating Real Stories of America’s Housing Crisis
The rising cost of living has created significant barriers to homeownership in America. As the 2024 presidential election approached, the American Property Owners Alliance (APOA) needed to position housing affordability as a priority issue and influence elected officials to prioritize solving the housing crisis.
We seized this timely opportunity to conceptualize, develop and promote the #OurHousingStory Campaign.
Adfero partnered with APOA to move beyond the data by gathering real stories from voters grappling with the housing crisis. We then amplified these stories across digital channels and published a Housing Wire op-ed by APOA’s executive director to influence policymakers and drive meaningful impact on housing policies, regulations, attitudes and beliefs.
