Jeff Mascott

Founder

Jeff is a problem-solver. His children needed a soccer coach; he became one the next day. He realized the potential for a mission-driven strategic communications firm; he founded Adfero.

Jeff possesses a unique blend of political experience, business savvy, communications and technology expertise. He founded Adfero in 2006 to create opportunities for people to do what they do best. Under his leadership, Adfero has become one of the best-known communications agencies in Washington. PR News recognized Adfero as a “Top Place to Work in PR,” PR Week chose it as a finalist for “Boutique PR Firm of the Year” and SmartCEO named Adfero a Future50 company for emergent growth in 2013. Jeff appeared on PR Week’s “40 Under 40” list and serves on the board of directors for the Public Affairs Council.

Prior to launching Adfero, Jeff also co-founded Fireside 21, a leading provider of CRM and web services to the U.S. Congress. He formerly led digital strategy for Congressman J.C. Watts, Jr., Chairman of the House Republican Congress.

Jeff graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park with a BA in Government and Politics.

Little-known fact: Jeff runs marathons like some people grab their first cup of coffee in the morning—fast. He has a Boston Marathon qualifying time.
