Kayla Marrero

Ever since she started walking, Kayla has been on the move. From spending every summer in Chicago to studying abroad in Spain, Kayla makes time to explore. While on her travels, she fell in love with D.C. and Maryland and decided to begin her career in the DMV.

As an assistant account executive, Kayla supports teams across Adfero's health, public affairs and energy and sustainability practices. She creates impactful stories for her clients through her writing and curious spirit. Before joining the agency, Kayla was a corporate affairs intern at Hilton where she worked in crisis communications, social media and environmental, social and governance.

Kayla graduated from Penn State University with a B.A. in Public Relations, minors in Spanish and Entrepreneurship & Innovation and a certificate in leadership.

Little-known fact: Kayla was a golf caddie for four years, caddying for professional golfer Tony Finau at the BMW Championship.
